I just tried making an ex BNSF GP9 but when I load the engine in the game, the exterior texture isn't there. From inside the cab, you can see the original engine texture, but from the outside, you can only see the couplers and the smoke particles. What's going on?

When encountering invisible locomotives, I usually check to verify if I have all of the .GeoPcDx files in the correct places. You should have one in your Engine folder. If not, there is your problem.

It's definitely there, I copied the BNSF GP9 folder in it's entirety and renamed it, which included all of the necessary .GeoPcDx files. On a side note, I encountered something similar when I tried repainting a P42, when I made an actual change, it was invisible, but if I just scribbled on it, I would show.

Start over with the GP9 files again. If anything is not referenced correctly in the engine bin file it will cause it to not show. I've had to go line by line in the engine bin file and the simulation bin file to make sure the folder paths are correct. Usually I find one or two things that I forget to change.

I actually managed to get it working earlier this morning. Don't know what I did different, but it works!
