Am I the only one getting extreme lag when trying to use steam? I've checked all my other programs and they seem to be working fine, it's just steam that lags.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I think I might be having the same issue. Then again, my entire computer is doing that also, so I'm not exactly sure. :/

I too am having the same problem. I don't use steam that much though. Pretty much right when you open Steam.exe, it lags pretty bad and you can't really do anything. For me, it started not too long ago. Maybe a month or so..?

I don't know what you are talking about exactly. When you sign on and my crappy ISP is on slow mode it might take thirty seconds for it to get there.

When trying to solve my problems yesterday, it took hours to do the file confirmation. Over 7 hours to dl the Railworks files. I think the whole system was sluggish.

Let's keep in mind that, according to that Einstein guy, time is relative: your thirty seconds might s-e-e-m much longer to someone else. Oh, and watch those pronouns, please. In your second sentence, it's hard to tell who or what "you", "my" and "it" are (or is that, am?) Ahh -- just pay the syntax and we'll call it even.
