(FIXED) Miami Night Sky?

In this scenario you're supposed to be running a train at night in a thunderstorm. I've tried messing with the detail sliders but nothing changes. I have done a re-install of TS17 and have been adding my stuff back in. I fired up the Miami route and got this sky:

I've never been to Miami so I can't say if this sky looks like the real thing or not.

Have you run a cache verify? And what's the name of the scenario?

Well I completely unistalled the route and add-ons for it. I did a fresh install with no mods to the route or trains and still had the problem. I tried a Quick drive scenario in Pacific Surfline with the same start time and weather using the PS 3D Storm weather (the Miami route uses Mi 3D Storm) and have the same result on that route. So I'm thinking its a setting somewhere that I can't find. I've tried it with all graphics settings and sliders maxed and check boxes checked but nothing changes.
The scenario is from the TaD Along The Coast scenario pack: Tri Rail Train P620 pt.1

I should also mention that I have done a complete wipe and install of everything on my computer last week. That includes windows and associated programs and TS17. Everything was working fine before I wiped everything so I figured it would be straight forward. I will say I'm getting much better performance after doing the wipe too.

Maybe the GPU ? Does it have the most recent update? If so have you tried a roll back to different version? I remember when I had an similar issue a couple years back on a Game that made the sky look like the picture you posted, and I believe I had to try different updates and install direct X again.

It's a fresh install so there aren't any drivers to roll back to but I think Nvdia has an archive of older drivers I can try. It's really weird, everything runs really good except for the 3D Stormy night time textures.

Running the route right now. I have dark sky. Did you get the funky sky right away or only after you got to the stormy part?

It was right from the get go. The route loaded with the crappy sky. I noticed that Nvidia released a new driver today but I'm going to be away till Friday so I can't try it till then.

It's certainly a local issue. I've been running it for 30 minutes and the sky is just night dark.

OK so to correct the issue I had to take the long and boring route. I had to reinstall Steam and TS again. This time though when I ran TS for the first time it installed some extra stuff(.NET, Directx 9, and Physx). It did not do this the last install so whatever extras it did, all is working well now. Thank You everyone that offered help !!*ok*!!
