How Can You Fix Broken Consist?

I've recently had problems loading one of my free roam scenarios. Every time I tried to load it the game would crash. Eventually, I deleted the consist using the RW Tools scenario editor, and the scenario started working again. I had saved the consist in the world editor, and I tried to replace the consist but it would not show on the tracks. The consist had 74-cars and used many different cars, and I'm not sure which car(s) caused the scenario to break. Does anyone have an idea of how I can fix the consist?

The only way I know of and this isn't real easy is to go into the scenario editor in RWTools and click on each car in the consist and see if it's OK or shows a problem.
