how do i change default switch?

ok so i have a scenario that i use for testing all new or working on engines, thing is on my main line there is a switch by default goes into a siding with a dead end, id like it to be by default stay on the mainline, or maybe by default its on the mainline, but it ends in a dead end, i cant remember now, either way can i have a switch stay in the position i want? im not sure how to make this happen

fixed the problem by going into world editor and in the 2d map, switched the switch and saved it

If you do it within the scenario editor, it will save it just for that scenario. If you change it within the World Editor and save, it will (after asking if you wish to update the route) save it for the route in general

it wasnt saving it for the scenario, so thats why i did it the way i did, have no clue why it wouldnt save that way
