cabsignal issue NYNH route

I don't know if this has already been addressed, but this issue for me is on the NYNH route going northbound.
After passing Old Greenwich Station on track 3 everything is okay but right before I get to Stamford Station
I get a red signal and I'm forced to stop the train making it difficult for me to complete the run.
I tried looking this up on RWA forums but it can't find anything. I also tried fixing it in the route editing but nothing's working for me.
So, if anybody has any tips on how to fix this I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks.

It is only happening in QD Scenario while operating the M8 EMU. I haven't tested it in any other game modes.

Hello,
I've tested this out two ways:

First I took the New Rochelle - Stamford route in QD (Non-MNR).
I encountered the same problem as you did - just after Old Greenwich Station I got a "S" signal at the West Stam. Interlocking and the signal speed was set to 0. I was able to get moving once the train had stopped and after I turned the ATC off.
I'm not sure if this is the same exact route you took, but I found out that the reason for this is because the QD randomly lines you for the Stamford yard, so it must be throwing a stop signal of some sort (Shouldn't it be restricting?). Here's a picture:

Next I tried the Old Greenwich (MNR) - Stamford (MNR) route in QD.
Same exact thing happend, except I got a "M" signal right after leaving Old Greenwich. The path was lined into the yard again.
I tried it another time but with trying to get permission to pass signal at danger by pressing TAB, but that didn't change the signal indication.

So for now my solution is just to turn off the ATC by pressing Ctrl-D (stated in page 8 of the M8 Manual) right before you get to that interlocking. If it goes off, just press Q when the train stops and then you'll be able to proceed after turning off the ATC. I'm not sure what else to do, but maybe there's a way to modify the QD? !*don-know!*

EDIT: If you're taking the MNR route, just set the quick drive end to Noroton Heights but stop once you get to Stamford. You'll get an "N" signal (normal) after passing the West Stam interlocking, and that kind of "fixes" the issue.

Hope that's helpful.

Yes thank you for your help, I will just disable the ATC before I get to the Interlocking then enable it after I get to Stamford station.
Thanks again :)

Sorry to bump this again, but I found a cheap solution.

All I did was block the yard entry switch at Stamford (which the QD keeps routing you onto) with a few cars and the signal display went back to normal.
To do this, go into each "Northbound" quick drive setup (in the scenario editor in the Build menu) and place any cars over this switch:

As a result, in any path you take into Stamford northbound, the switch will be locked and the ATC will think that you are not heading into the yard (since a red/"S" signal will be shown at the switch).

And here are the following signal displays you should get as you come into Stamford:

Sorry for the excessive amount of photos, but I hope this helps :D
