So I just recently downloaded the Norfolk Southern GP15 2-Pack. I downloaded the original GP15 model by David Brindley, I followed the instructions given in the README. I went to do a basic route scenario just so i could test the new unit with the repaints, It was listed, clicked on it, put it on the track, hit save, and all I saw was Couplers?

Not sure what would cause just the couplers to show up. Make sure your settings sliders for quality and density are maxed out. If it still does it I would start all over. Delete both NS and the MP folders. Re-download the .rwp with the utilities tool for the MP unit FIRST and then the NS units can be done.

I uninstalled both, and reinstalled as you mentioned, still having the same issue

Hmmm, I haven't heard any other issues. Usually seeing only the couplers means the GeoPcDx file wasn't copied correctly. But in this case there is no copying, the GeoPcDx is included. I know others are using them, and there have been 146 DLs as of now with no other problems...at least so far.
Navigate to the engine folder of each NS repaint and see if gp15a.GeoPcDx is in there.
Good Luck,
tagsdm

Yes, both folders GP-15-NS1xUP & GP-15-NS2xUP have gp15a.GeoPcDx

The only other thing I can think of is that the folder hierarchy is off slightly. I've had engines in the wrong folders that show in the flyout, but not on the rails, only the couplers. Do you have the other NS repaint I've uploaded? If not, give it a try just to see what happens. It's had 250 +- DLs. The Adriana County repaints are also compiled the same way, if you want to try 'em.
I've had nothing but good luck with this engine, wish I had more talent to go with it!!

I have no idea why it's not working correctly, like you said something may be off, but I did exactly how the readme was presented, but still no results. I do not have any other repeaints that you speak of and would very much appreciate what you have to offer!! Where can these repaints you speak of be found? On the site I'm assuming?

The other repaints are right here, in Engine Repaints. There's another NS GP15 (that one does not have the ditch lights) and an Adriana County pack of three. There's also a patched BNSF GP38 that you could try, just to see if it works. I use the Package Manager that comes with TS to make the *.rwp files. Up to now, it's been very reliable.

Do you have the newest version of David's GP15? Can you take a picture of your file? The Geo isn't right or in the wrong place almost always when just the couplers show up.

I'm not sure, the most recent one that I found was a 2011 version. Is there one that is newer than that? I attached a pic of what I see in the folder

NS349,
I think I found it. I also have GP15 UPY-588 (available here) installed. That's where the ditch lights came from. If I delete it, my NS repaints with the ditch lights are gone. Restore UPY-588, and the NS repaints are back. There must be a reference in the *.bin that points to UPY-588. Here's the UPY...
Union Pacific (UP) UPY-588 GP15-1
It's available here. I'll bet if you install UPY-588, your NS repaints will show. Although no one else has found this. Does that mean all the other users have UPY-588? And I don't know how to fix it. I'll be darned if I can find anything.
Best,
tagsdm

You would need to copy the child objects over to your repaint folder, the open all the bin files and make sure the paths are pointing to the repaint and not the UPY-558

Thanks, PapaXpress, I knew I was getting in over my head. I did include the Fittings folder with the repaints, but I did not open the *.bins. I'll take a look right now.
Many Thanks,
tagsdm
PS: That was it, PapaXpress. There is an entry in ditchlights.bin that points to UPY-588. I've removed all the other child objects. Now, how do I fix it for other users?

I have Y588 and all the other repaints on here and everything works just fine for me.
