Not all repaints showing up in game

I've installed a few different packs for the HS Cylindrical hoppers.

The ones from GreatNortherner work fine (ATSF,CN, CP,GN) which I assume is because they're the dependency. The Alberta Heritage and Canadian Hopper pack show installed in the utilities, are listed as assets, and have geo's but the model will not display in the scenario editor.

I think I may also have the same problem with the GX Def cars but I haven't dug into it yet.

Is there a manual method to dig into files or a feature of RSTools and see what is causing one skin to overwrite another? Can vehicle names be changes to fix such situations?

Are you sure they are installed in the same place as the others? They are not listed in the same place as the newer ones but I just D/L them and they are there for me.

They are in assets>greatnortherner>hoppers>railvehicles>freight>hscylindrical

I have the following variations installed:
ALNX ALPX ATSF-ms CN-ms CNWX-4
CPWX GN-ms SKPX-1 SKPX-2
plus the Shared and Default folders

the only ones that show up in game are the CN-ms, GN-ms, and ATSF-ms

Could someone walk me through how to clone a car and change the name? It involves copying .bins and renaming certain fields right?

I want to make backups and look into a couple of problem cars, not just these. I suspect some repaints have overwritten the defaults and if possible I'd like to correct that.
