Feather River Workshop Submission Errors

Unread postby Friedy » Thu Feb 18, 2016 5:39 pm

Checking the Steam Workshop you will notice that there have been zero submissions for scenarios for this new route. After I uploaded a new scenario here at RWA I decided to also upload it to the Steam Workshop as it should meet the criteria of using only officially released routes / assets. No luck, the validation procedure identified the scenario as using an unreleased route. I can't remember what sie DTG wanted complaints posted to. Anyone remember?
P.S. This is very reminiscent of the situation with "The Story of Forest Rail" route, in which the validation routine failed to recognize an asset folder issued with the route.

You can't submit a scenario until the route appears in the right side menu of routes. No idea how long that takes, but I posted a similar question on the steam forums and I guess it can be up to a few weeks.

Interesting, since Feather River is listed at the bottom of that list. And as of today the validation message has changed to "Cannot Publish Content." Well at least something seems too be happening.

Jim, the current email address for TS help is support@dovetailgames.kakayo.com . The current website for submitting a support ticket is http://dovetailgames.kayako.com/ and, I think, is more efficient. As you noted, FRC sits at the bottom of the routes list, but with a (0) notation next to it.

!!howdy!!
