All the required assets are probably not checked in the object filter. Some assets, such as this, will use parts from other developers, and the couplers are most likely fron Kuju somewhere. Make sure anything in Kuju is checked in the object filter

You'll need to install the original HH660, the couplers are an internal from the package. Or, use the file attached here. You'll have to rename the file 'couplers.rwp' and then use the Utilities program to install it.

Where can I pick up the original?

After some more research, it appears that the couplers.rwp file I posted is the right fix, as I fixed the loco to use it's own rather than the old KUJU ones.

The originals used the KUJU set. There is another HH painted for GBW in the file downloads.

Actually, I think you'll find the files in the download above are identical to the ones included with the original RW&A reskin uploaded shortly after the route was launched. And unfortunately it still leaves the loco without visible couplers.

I had noticed that the couplers were missing (physically) but it doesn't affect the loco actually coupling up to other stock, so I didn't worry about it.

These couplers show up fine for me and the bin file says GreatNortherner\HH660\Coupler\coupler_ms.xml. Soo the first thing is do you who don't have the couplers showing up have the GreatNotherner HH660 checked off in the asset box? And if you do are the files there?

Yes, and yes. (in fact, if the Great Northener-HH660 asset box wasn't checked, I wouldn't be able to drop the loco on to the tracks in the first place!. FWIW, the Kuju US assets are checked as well

And original coupler files (per download from Downloads section) are identical to the file in the link posted earlier

OK next look into the HH660 folder. There should be a coupler folder there. In it should be 3 files and a folder. coupler_ms.bin coupler_ms_closed.GeoPcDx and open and a texture folder. Inside it should be one file coupler.TgPcDx. Is that all there?

Yes Buzz, as I said - the same folders & files that were in the original download from Downloads on this site, and which are exactly the same as the folders and files that are in the download link earlier in this thread (I did try switching them out, and also examined the bin files and geo files)

errr . . . I don't have another version. The Download was provided as a standalone wasn't it? It included the Geo file, and there was no mention of needing another model to be installed. And everything works fine bar the invisible (but working) coupler

I just downloaded it again and if you used the rwp it should have put in the file I showed. Whether you have any of those other models shouldn't make a difference. That would be the path to the engine.

Then I don't understand, because here is the extract from the loco's bin file (from the download which I have just myself made again, to make sure I'm not going nuts!):

<FrontCouplingBlueprintID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
<BlueprintSetID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">GreatNortherner</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">HH660</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Coupler\coupler_ms.xml</BlueprintID>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
</FrontCouplingBlueprintID>

(the RearCoupling code is the same)

You will see, it is looking for the coupling files in GreatNorthener\HH660\Coupler . . . which is exactly where they there are in the downloaded rwp, NOT deeper down in the Nortec_HH6600\RWnA_5 folder

So it's a mystery . . . as a famous playwright said :)

That's where the coupler is. It's at GreatNortherner\HH660\Coupler
