The above subject loads just fine but when I go to the custom consist(create new)and click on the boxcars they do not appear.Along with the CN boxcars is a very long list of "boxcar 40ft-PS1 PRR new-roof sup6-door? also don't appear when clicked on?checked all the assets and loaded just fine--am at a loss.any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just downloaded these to try and troubleshoot the problem. I'm experiencing the same issue. For others looking, this is for custom consists using the 'quick drive' feature. The 'preview' image in the consist builder does show up if that is of use for troubleshooting.

The cars work fine when placing them directly in a custom scenario though.

Perhaps one of the rolling stock gurus can chime in.

Don't they need a PreLoad file before you can use them in a custom quick drive?

I tried the pre-load (ATSF 40ft PS1 boxcar pack)from GreatNortherner and that didn't work.The ATSF pack came up fine,but still no luck with the CN pack.

What do you mean you tried the pre-load? What I was trying to say was there is no PreLoad folder for these things therefore the game doesn't know what they are.

What I was meaning to say is that maybe you had to have ATSF 40ft pre-loaded from greatnortherner,in order for the cn pack to work,but there are no instructions for that,so I just tried it and that didn't work either.

On most or all of my old models (to which the 40ft PS-1 belongs) and including any later updates for them I haven't set up the PreLoad stuff for QD. So it's quite likely that repaints based on these models will not have it either. If a missing PreLoad data set is indeed the culprit -- I don't know, I've never used the custom consist function in QD.
