I am not sure what are all the dots on the cab windows of BNSF locomotive? Is that something to do with the scenario or the locomotive itself. I ran BNSF Steven's Pass with the workshop scenario Steven's West Slope Pt. (ILT). Look at the screenshot when you can see closer with the dots all over the engineer windows.

I cannot say for certain in this case, but early on I ran into this in my models by allowing the texture that is used for glass to be compressed when the model is exported to the game.

Hi Trevor,

And here is my computer specifications below that you requested:

AMD FX6100 6-Core Processor 3.3 GHz (Gaming Desktop by Acer)

16 GB memory Ram

AMD Radeon HD7700 2 GB graphic card by Asus and the link is for the graphic card below:

https://www.asus.com/Graphics-Cards/HD77702GD5/

AMD Radeon Software Crimson Driver for my graphic card

Windows 10 64X Home Premium with all updates to this date

2 TB hard drive

3 Solid State Drives with one 240 GB, other is 120 GB and the last one is 120 GB
.

So I believe that my computer specifications should be okay. I did not overclock the graphic card as I don't want to touch if I don't know what to do with this. So I leave it as is the way the graphic card setup when installed.

Let me know about this and maybe you have better idea that I have about the dots on the locomotive windows.

John

Trevor -- thank you for your reply to look at my computer specifications. I wonder why are the dots showing inside the cab of the BNSF locomotive windows? Guess that there's nothing else we can do and I have to accept the way it show the dots on the windows of the cab.

John

This kind off effect was used in past time for texture effect. It can be more or less visible (even invisible most time) but with some specific weather it can lead to such an awfull result. Try to run this engine in QD with a nice blue sky (or any other weather). But this is due to the engine itself (not the scenario). Some engine are very old and have been remade. Try to swap it by a newer one using scenario editor.

I have tried it out in the WS Scenario that John has mentioned with no problems. The weather is foggy/misty set in the summer. Maybe a setting in Johns graphics card is causing this issue. I have an Nvidia card so cannot really help on that side of things.

John,

What about your settings in game, are they on highest, it's possible that the textures show like that if you are on a low setting, we had problems with British Electric Multiple Units in the past with those kind of window textures.
