Hello everybody.

Has bought yesterday Train Simulator 2016 Steam Edition and P42DC Empire Builder:

P42DC Empire Builder - not rotating fan on the engine roof.
I also have P42DC Genesis, and that fan is rotating.
Maybe somehow fix the fan for Empire Builder?

Any help would be appreciated.

The same for me, but not a concern. Only a minor cosmetic issue.

I also noticed this small issue. I don't own the old Genesis so I can't have a look to find what is wrong.

I just want to know, it is game updates issue, or fan never rotated?

I never see it rotating.

I should assume that DTG knows about this issue.

On Friday, I opened a ticket on this issue.

Also compare files Empire Builder GX_P42_Amtk.bin and Genesis GX_P42_Amtk.bin, although I did not versed much in this,
and I think that fans animation should be in both models.

Files "GX_P42_Amtk.bin" for G-TraX and RSC in the part pertaining to the fan practically identical.
From this it can be concluded that the behavior of the fan, and in both cases should be the same, or am I mistaken?

I am going to be fascinated to see if they come up with a fix for this and what it is. I changed out the GeoPcDx file and no change. I read through the bin file as carefully as I could and no luck. I checked the texture files and they are identical. I exchanged out the fan.ban and no change.

Apparently, the model has serious errors that they can not or do not want to fix it.
There is another P42DC:
Assets\DTG\Miami\RailVehicles\Diesel\P42DC\
It seems it was released later, there at all removed the fan. Grill only remained.
