[TAS] GE GEVO-12 Sound-set Issues

Unread postby ColoradoRailfan » Mon Nov 23, 2015 12:56 pm

I recently got the GEVO 12 sound set from TAS. I came across some issues with the soundset and hoping someone can fix this.
The engine sounds from a distance are extremely loud which is not realistic, can someone edit the proxy so that it fades in and fades out volume from certain distances?
The simulation startup mod in the .bin will not make the locomotive able to operate, it is invisible or not there.

I have also studied the proxyxml code. I see a bunch of files that are non-existent or alias the Stevens Pass route. Many of those files are present in the Kuju folder, why not alias to those instead?

The incomplete file paths in question appear to be for some turbo sounds or something. The cab and horn sounds are prefect though.

if it sounds like your standing right next to the locomotive then it may be stereo sounds instead of mono

Well I just found out that the sound files are Mono, and they are still loud, someone is gonna have to edit the proxy.
