So I was playing train sim testing something then I noticed this problem and I wanted to know if someone know how to fix this?
NS has black numbers and white backgrounds so this is not prototypical

It would help a lot if you would tell the community what locomotive you are referring to since this picture doesn't tell much.

it's the NS 6920 Veterans but I mad this repaint from the RSC BNSF green paint scheme but I am redoing it and using the academy SD70 with flashing ditch lights but it still has that same problem.
this is what I mean by black numbers and white background

You need to go into the nose file and make the holes for the number boards black and then turn the letters into white. Now you will have a black background with white numbers.

Hold it correction....... I went and looked and you need to find the file called "white" which is black. Take it to your editor and make it white. Wola!

I'm talking about the flying number boards for norfolk southern locomotives,
they are black digits with a white backing like this

After that you have to import your edited number and save it to your engine texture number folder. That's it. (don't forget to click the 'generate mipmaps' box)
But, you have to change the numbers in the dcvs of the Academy SD70...otherwise they will be always start with a 00.
Hope this is useful for you.
