Problems to make a copy of SH SD70M

Hey everybody,

normally I don't have problems to make a copy of any engine for repainting it without loosing the original loco.
But now I'm a little bit confused and frustated. Why the heck I don't get these loco copied ?
Everything I try failed. Don't shown in selection...no name...no loco...nothing. Maybe someone has copied this succsessful and can send me a tip or a copy of the bin file.

Kindly Sibell

I think probably your problem is to do with the .ap. If you have your new named folder and the new bin done and it's not showing up try making the .ap a .ap.xxx and see if the loco shows up. It's that and or in the line about the geometry. If you don't get it to work post back and I'll look at the wording on those two lines.

The name of my locomotive is IC and it's in the SD70M folder. Here is the bin folder. Let me know if this works please.

My bad sorry. If you used my bin file and just changed the lines to get your paint to show up I used some modified sounds for my locomotive. 3/4 of the way down there is a EngineSound entry.
Says:
<ChildName d:type="cDeltaString">EngineSound</ChildName>
<BlueprintID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
<BlueprintSetID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">RSC</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">SD70Pack01</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70ACe\70a-Helper Engine Sound.xml</BlueprintID>

Needs to say:
<ChildName d:type="cDeltaString">EngineSound</ChildName>
<BlueprintID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cAbsoluteBlueprintID>
<BlueprintSetID>
<iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
<Provider d:type="cDeltaString">RSC</Provider>
<Product d:type="cDeltaString">ShermanHill</Product>
</iBlueprintLibrary-cBlueprintSetID>
</BlueprintSetID>
<BlueprintID d:type="cDeltaString">Audio\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD70M\Engine\SD70MEngineSound.xml</BlueprintID>

The only things you need to change are under product type should be ShermanHill and under Audio change it to SD70M\Engine/SD70MEngineSound.xml.
It should work then.
!!**sorry**!!

Ok, maybe I'm really stupid or u do things with the .bin I don't understand. Your .bin file is 23 kb big, after edit the 2 lines I apply it to serz to save the new informations.
After that, my .bin is only 1 kb small and the loco doesn't work.
This is the first time I really have problems with that. Freaky haha *!greengrin!*

I want this loco with sound and with the right name, but if I change IC to CSX...FAIL...loco don't shown up.

Is that what you want it to be called? Just CSX? If so I will make you a complete bin and send it to you.

In which file (bin) and line may I change the loco names that display in the scenario lists (as train name) or in the quick drive roster?
!*snd-help*!
