Change Track Types

Can I change a track type of an existing track without having to re-lay it?
I have decided to add a trestle to my route. Can I change the track from ballasted to non ballasted track for my trestle without having to re-lay the track? I am hoping I could highlight the existing track, and somehow switch it to non ballasted track.
Any help would be appreciated.

If the track exist in the current rules your route is using, use the select tool to change from one type to another. If, however, the track doesn't exist in the rule set you're using, then you would have to create your own track rules, and then do some editing of the Tracks.bin to change the rules to the one you created.
