Missing Route Files?

Unread postby qrfan3 » Mon Feb 02, 2015 6:37 pm

I am slowly getting all my stuff up to TS 2015 after a long break ( illness ) and have found some missing file issues with a particular Route.
As they are apparently non-default I was wondering if somebody could pm me with these bin files only, or direct me to where they possibly may be so as I can download or acquire all the correct files.
I have a million files saved and not one of these I can locate in such or elsewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried running a cache verify? These seem to files that are pretty routine.

Sorry Buzz, I should have stated that the Route was a freeware one ( Willamette Pass ).
I have a clean install of Railworks TS2015 with Default and DLC only which I have verified several times in the last few days. The Kuju files listed above are not in the clean Install.
I guess somebody has modified and/or made new additions and they have been spread around with the numerous freeware Routes.
For all my freeware stuff installed I have other Railworks folders similar to the mini Route concept of the old MSTS days in which I do a compare / update with the clean install now and then to keep them equal and inline.

I don't what developer "Brill" is, but the trucks are obviously something someone else made and exported using a Kuju source folder and not their own. As for the "cajonpass_WP" stuff, that comes from the US Assets pack. I believe the track rules are ones RS.com released years ago (search for "All Track" track rule).
Cheers!

I hear you on this comment, can be frustrating sometimes.
I can live without the " Brill " item...I think it maybe a scenery wheel item laying around somewhere and the vehicles can be changed out to others.
The Cajonpass_WP stuff are not default items in the US Asset Pack. I am assuming the US Asset Pack is the original default we got with Railworks 1 that now is a payable DLC.
The trackrules are the headache, as milk bottles are everywhere along the track. I suspect somebody made these from the original default -All Track TR- bin file for their own use and they have spread.
Oh well...I can edit all the loft tiles and remove them.... !*hp*!

Thanks for your views.. !!*ok*!!

Just a FYI I don't have these files either and I never see milk bottles. I have a all track bin which I'd be happy to send you but no main or yard.

Have you looked in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailsimulatorUSAssets.ap for your 'missing' RailSimulatorUS files? All the old default US files are packed in a .ap archive now. I assume RW Tools is telling you they are missing - that is because it doesn't look inside .ap archives. You can look inside them using 7Zip - you don't need to unpack them.

My railway photos are back - you can access them from this thread viewtopic.php?f=24&t=21667a . Lots of UK steam and early diesels from the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Somebody's pinching ya milk Buzz before you get out of bed.... !*roll-laugh*! !*roll-laugh*!
Seriously, I don't know why you have the same install ( WillamettePass(WIP).rwp ) and not have milk bottles unless you have all the required files??

This Pic is in the Klamath Falls yard about 500 mtrs south of the Amtrak Station platform. The 2d map shows them as mileposts.

This one is near the S 6th St overpass just south ( 100mtrs ) of the picture above...nothing in 2d map, suspect they maybe speedsigns... !*don-know!*

I have unpacked that particular .ap file several times to make sure nothing was missed. I believe those US scenery objects are 3rd party stuff.

Cheers..

I didn't even look. I just found the folder and sent it to you. My copy of Willamette doesn't show that one you are talking about. Did you get your copy of the route from the SugarSync link or someplace else? Maybe we don't have the same version.

I have John's original and the SugarSync link one, they are the same as far as I can see by checking files.
I have the SugarSync installed now as I thought originally the John Lippai one that I had was not the latest.

I'm not a route bulder, just a scenery putter downer so I don't know what this means but here is what is at those milk bottles.

I had checked that also and if you lift the y axis ( blue pointer ) up there is nothing attached to the gizmo on the track.
At first I thought it may be an invisible item then realized the milk bottle is there because of a missing item.
I PM'd John a while back....I know he is a very busy man and have no need to bother him with these small details....just thought the community members may have some insight.

The Brill item is also missing for Decatur Junction.
It is a sound file, so I guess not essential.
