Failed to validate files...what do you do now?

I ran the Validate file from steam on my TS2015 and got a message that says,
4133 files failed to validate and will be reacquired.

I hit the OK button but nothing happened.
I then restarted TS2015 and then closed it and went to run the Validate again.

Same message popped up when completed.

What am I suppose to do to reacquire the files? How do I know which files are required or affected?

Try closing the Steam client and then deleting appmanifest_24010.acf from Steam/steamapps. Restart the Steam client and it should suggest that TS2015 needs re-installing. Agree to that and make sure you install to the same location. This will then act like a Validate Cache - it will only replace 'modified' files, and won't download anything that match its definitions.

You've already done it -- in fact, way too much of it. The message "xxxx files failed to validate and will be reacquired" marks the end of the validation process. Those files will be downloaded to your installation automatically. Don't pay any attention to anyone who says that you should go through a re-installation process. If it ain't broke, . . . surely you know the rest.

Did you wait for the files to download. Click on the library menu in Steam and at the bottom click on downloads where you shall be taken to the downloads screen.
