VNHRR GP9 sounds

Unread postby chrisreb » Fri Dec 19, 2014 4:24 am

Hi

Just trying out the V2 release which even in Winter looks brilliant. The game cries out for more period stuff.

My query is that the GP9 sounds fine incab but has no external engines sounds. Is this me or have others got this?

I have sounds but the horn sounds like a cow.
Everything else is just fine.

Hi,

Thanks for the heads-up! I'm looking into the sound issue on the GP9. This issue has been reported by another user too.

Cheers

I'm also having issues with the GP9. No exterior sounds, no horn. !*don-know!*

I have interior sounds and exterior sounds, but the controls are messed up.

Only mouse control, no expert controls like W,S, A, and D.
Brakes are not working either, need to use the mouse to control the levers.

A quick way to restore those "now you hear them, now you don't" sounds is to save the scenario or just press the ESC key twice. I find that the engine sounds tend to drop out when I rotate the 2 or 3 camera. It's a minor irritation while running a fantastic route.
