I've seen that message too many times, just hit continue and things will work fine...

"unhandled exception" this is the second time in a week I have seen someone post about this error. This happens when the program you are trying to run tries to access an area of System Memory (RAM) that is reserved for Windows use only. This usually means you are running out of useable RAM. What are the specs of your system, especially how much RAM?

Oh, and NEVER hit that refresh button in Package Manager. Just let it find your .rwp/ .rpk file and install it.

I advise everyone who is having all sorts of problems loading assets that have been successfully loaded by dozens if not hundreds to go back and read the install instructions very carefully. Several years back when I was just beginning I used to repeatedly make mistakes that the computer will not accept. I still do but now I recognize what I did wrong and redo. I'm not putting anyone down but you all need to look listen and learn as you go. It's not that hard after you get the drill on path structure and what makes makes what works.

Don't know if this was suggested before or not, Tom, did you search-and-destroy the "pontrack.bin" files? Fourth post down in this thread: http://railworksamerica.com/forum/viewt ... =34&t=9915 Just follow Chacal's instructions.

I would recommend doing a search for that file, even after a fresh reinstall. No one seems to know where it comes from, but it seriously messes up third party routes and repaints and assets, usually but not always crashing Railworks in the process.

Yes but did you open the command window on your Railworks folder like I said in my post?

It's a mystery how those files can be created if there is a character limit. Luckily, I usually fix them using Long Path Tool.
