You need to do this to the GEO, not the BIN.

PapaX

The RW_Tools application appears to have worked on the .BIN to "Edit Assets > Zero EmissiveAsVec" and as well as converted the .GeoPcDx in the process.

I opened the Original freightdock.GeoPcDx and compared it to the Modified freightdock.GeoPcDx after the RW_Tools operation completed and found the following on all the EmissiveAsVec lines:
- Original -
<EmissiveAsVec d:numElements="4" d:elementType="sFloat32" d:precision="string">1.0000000 1.0000000 1.0000000 1.0000000</EmissiveAsVec>
was converted to
- Modified -
<EmissiveAsVec d:numElements="4" d:elementType="sFloat32" d:precision="string">0.0000000 0.0000000 0.0000000 0.0000000</EmissiveAsVec>

So I guess the conversion was successful...

But the visual result so far is that the Loading Dock still appears to have the glow about it. Even the Fork Lift is glowing. So I guess I must need do something else, correct?

I've not been able to successfully de-glow any of the assets I've made but haven't had the time to investigate why. I hope you manage to work out what needs to be done.

Good luck!

I know I have done it, but it was some time ago (maybe even before I started blogging). I won't be able to work on it tonight, but perhaps next week.

OlPaint, You also need to correct the "Docks" in the

Steam\SteamApps\common\railworks\Assets\Developer\Addon\railnetwork\transferpoints\yards\Freightdock-MS

Folder using the same method in RW_Tools that you used to correct the docks in the 3DFreight and BlankDock folders.

Rich_S

I found the following .BIN files in the \assets\Developer\Addon\Railnetwork\transferpoints\yards\freightdock-ms\ folder - 5 idenified "Freight Dock---.BIN files for I-Beams, Packaged, Pulpwood, Rails, and Timber. I also found an additional daughter directory called "Carloads" that appear to be the actual 'loads' that are placed on the flatcars. I will try to convert the "Freight Dock...BIN" files with RW_Tools "Edit Assets > Edit Assets > Zero EmissiveAsVec" first and see what happens.

Edit:
Success!!! Converting the five "\freightdock-ms\Freight Dock ---.BIN" files completely removed the glow from the concrete loading dock structure as well as toned down the glow of the fork lift.

Thanks to everyone for the advice how to apply the fix.

It was a freeware model, if you hand it to Bob he might be able to correctly replace it under the correct uploader name and handle. Unless one can get in touch with Justin, which is probably unlikely.

Send it to me (send me a link in a PM) and I'll add it to the library item.
