Ok, I finally managed to get the 390 working on WCML.

However, class 86 scenarios are still crashing before it loads. Also the other class that it's in the career (I believe class 47). However class 37 loaded. Any way to handle the .dmp files to find out why it crashes? Anyone knows why it would crash?

You can try running logmate & seeing how far it gets loading before it crashes.

You might be running a scenario that needs the seperate 86 expansion pack, that would also cause a crash. If it's the one from WCML then it should be ok.

Ok I ran logmate on Class47 scenario and class47 career.

Apparently Class47 scenario is the only one not crashing. Class 47 career, the class 37 and class 86 career/scenario do crash.

I have saved logs from both class 47 scenario and career (career which is the one who crashes).

Please provide the actual name of the scenario you're having trouble with, it makes it easier to try and track down and test. !**conf**!

Sorry, they are the Hand Over and Kingmoor Sunsent from Standard and Carstairs Split, Scots Pine and Argyle Line from Career Mode
The only working scenario from WCML is Polmadie Hop.

Hand Over - Loaded OK
Kingmoor Sunsent - Loaded OK
Carstairs Split - Loaded OK
Argyle Line - Loaded OK
Scots Pine - Error Could not load racks.bin

I'm trying to track down why tracks.bin wouldn't load, otherwise all the scenarios work.

One of the guys over at the Steam Forums had this error, not sure if he fixed it or not, but he had gone as far as a complete reinstall of RW and the Steam client. I'll see if I can find that Thread.

So any suggestions what I could do so those tracks would load for me? I have the .dmp file which no idea what to do with them, as well as logmate which I uploaded.

Thanks

Seems to be mainly a Career Scenario problem and there seems to be no definative fix. I'm not reinstalling windows and verify files is always my last resort, it takes too long to "rebuild".

What I'd like to see Steam come up with is a verify option that allows individual DLC to be verified instead of the entire RW install.

Found the thread over at the Steam Forum about the tracks.bin: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... tracks.bin

I have had to do a repair of Windows once because of the "SBHH" error with this sim. And had to verify files several times in a row for certain errors. A reinstall of Steam, and a reinstall of the game. **!!bang!!** And there are still a few routes or scenarios that don't work. A repair of Windows is easy as long as you have the original disk. And, I have copies of all my third party add on's because, as Sam said, when you verify the game files, a lot of stuff gets overwritten.

So what I've read here there are problems with the original scenarios?

A possible approach: Go into the RW folders. Delete the WCML or at least the scenarios in the scenario folder and then verify the integrity of RW with Steam.
It should now download the WCML again and hopefully all problems are fixed.
Had to do the same yesterday with the SanB-Barstow.

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you happen to know the exact name of the folder for WCML? Because they all have binary type names, so I have no idea which one is which.

Thanks

I deleted the 00000011-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 from Contents/Routes, but nothing changed, still crashing on those scenarios. Unless I should've deleted something else besides just the 00000011-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 folder.
