using the renaming feature as described and remove the .bin from the end of the file name. then copy and paste the file into the CN_URL folder. Now the file should be in both places without the .bin at the end of the name.

Yes I do understand that. But there is no file name with GeoPcDx.bin to change. All the files start with SD75. These are the two files in question, SD75_I_BNSF which is a GeoPcDx file and SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX which shows as a bin file. The SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX was created when I ran the SD75 script fix. If I remove the SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX with the bin extension I have no issues other than the texture issue. With that file in place it will hang my system. Maybe my explanation was very clear. The Bin in the SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX can't be removed by renaming. It's part of the file itself.

They are supposed to start with SD75. Read my post again. " SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX"

Sorry about the file explanation. SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX with the bin is the SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX.bin is the file you're looking to rename. When people say GeoPcDX files they are referring to the file with that extension. XXXXX.GeoPcDX. The GeoPcDX is the shape file. anything before the Dot (.) is the file name Leave it exactly as it is just remove the dot .bin from the end of the name then copy and paste

I know they are supposed to start with that. That's not the issue.

Did this work?
SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX.bin this should now look like SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX

John, thanks for getting back with me. There was never a .bin at the end of it to remove. I guess my explanation was all wrong as to what I was seeing. I even renamed it to what was provided just to make sure and the results were the same. It crashed big time while loading. If I remove that file all together it loads just fine.

At this point I would delete the repaint and start over. Follow the directions from the readme first file and just start over. Something isn't right somewhere and starting over is the best option. After running the supplied script there should have been a SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDX.bin file created. I personally don't have this repaint installed. I downloaded it and went through the readme files. It's a very complicated repaint to install.

The only other thing I can think of is the light mod to the original BNSF SD75 model that could have an affect. I'm gonna delete both and start over. I'll save the BNSF mod for last. I'll let you know what happens.

Yea I think the repaint was done before that. start with fresh files.

Did it create the files after running the script? The script and everything is supposed to be run in the cn folder that the repaint is and it supposed to create new files. If it's not creating the files I would contact the creator of the repaint. I'm at a loss at this point. When I get free time I will try to install the repaint myself

I have it installed and it works fine. The only thing I did different from the instructions was to install the entire cabview into the CN SD75. You need to look into the engine file and see if you only have a .GeoPcDx and not also have a .GeoPcDx.bin. When I did it incorrectly it didn't crash the game it just didn't show up.

I just installed this with no problems at all. The only thing I did was I had to select the path to my Railworks install since mine isn't normal. This was an option when running the script. The new script in the download automatically copies the needed files renames them and puts them in the correct locations. I have zero issues with anything. All I did was follow the directions in the "Other Important Files" folder. There is a pdf file and a regular text file. I used the regular text file for installation instructions. the vbs script does everything for you.
You don't need to copy and paste the original SD75_I_BNSF.GeoPcDx the vbs script will do it all.

I will try it again when I get home from work tonight. The script file put everything in the correct folders. The log states that the fix was successfully installed. I didn't have to rename anything. I will try running the script fix from within the CN folder, and copying the whole cabview folder over. So strange how it worked perfectly prior to the ts2018 update. I'll try again. I don't give up easily.
