Okay so do you know exactly what marker is missing? When I had the problem it told me what marker (ex-#M5 Siding) was missing. If you know what you need to fix then I can help you, but if it didn't tell you what's missing then I'm not sure I can provide any help.

First, Buzz is absolutely correct about reading -- studying -- the RW Tools manual before attempting to do anything with this very complex tool.

Second, please provide the route and scenario names so others who want to help can examine the problem first hand.

Third, be aware that TS is capricious and unreliable at times, especially if files have not been verified recently.

Fourth, try launching the scenario again; when the failure message appears, press F2 and then click the Continue button. This can sometimes unblock a scenario, but be aware that it can also lead to -- ahem -- unfortunate circumstances.

Best of luck.

the problem I see is that I changed engines with RWTools and some how that screwed up the time table for that engine, it has like 11 things to do and beside them are red (!) least it looks like that, anyway how can I fix it without changing or erasing things to it, id like to keep whats there because again I do not make or edit scenarios
any ideas guys? **!!bang!!**

This happened to me and it wasn't because of RW-Tools.
I started with a standard scenario working perfectly.
I swapped the engine and had this error or a similar one, with all the red bangs.
I experiments with several similar engines (example: different SD40-2 models) and with some of them this problem happened, with others the problem went away completely. I swapped the engines in TS2017's scenario editor and got the same results.
I don't remember which scenario and which engines, sadly.

Although it sounds insane, some engines cause routing errors in the scenario editor: missing markers, or no route to destination.

So try swapping in a few different engines.

There's a lesson to be learned here: n-e-v-e-r monkey around with the original scenario: use the editor to make a clone and modify that instead. If the modifications work satisfactorily, either delete the original scenario and change your clone's name to the original's, or keep both.

I thought I did, at the time I was doing a few things and accidently skipped that, so my only solution is to try other engines in the scenario?
and does anyone remember what the default engines to movin iron is?

Did that scenario come with the Soo Line route? If so, just re-download it from Ian's website.

sorry its early for me with no coffee lol had a brain fart, so since this problem happened ive downloaded a lot of re paints and just now I re downloaded the route and the scenario works fine now.
however the other scenario has a error coming up having to do with the player train,
first one just says unknown error and the other says missing marker- Comanche passing siding west
in the time table lots of the orders have the (!) signs if that helps

I can make a simple start out tutorial for you to learn the basics of the timetable. Would you like me to just post the screenshots here?

Okay I just hope you will be able to see all the screenshots because there will be more than two for each post. You might not see them... !*don-know!*

Ah, that's a good idea. The first "lesson" will be on how to set up a simple standard scenario which will have an end point and a "go via" instruction. You will also learn some basics in the timetable.
