You're right. I gotcha on the 0. Default. !!*ok*!!

I played with the RSC Challenger CylCocks.bin file and changed the iParticleEmissionRollOffRate from 2 to 0 and now they work. Also opened the Turbo_Generator_Smoke.bin which didn't show anymore either and changed the same thing in it. iParticleEmissionRollOffRate from 2 to 0, now it shows. At least it's a start.

Just goes to show that TS2015 has done some serious harm to the particle emitters.

And yes. I know about the 3D weather bug. I find myself not using it much with too many scenarios. Depends on the locos I'm using.

No headlight on the BB. !!det!!

Get a fairly long train and pull it up a grade with both ways. That should tell the tale. It seemed to be making noise unless my imagination was working overtime. Were you seeing some smoke out of the second unit like I was or no?

This double heading issue with Steamers has been around since I have had RW since about 2009. Was running a scenario with 2 Thompson B1s double headed at the front pulling a coal train with a Black 5 at the back, there was some smoke coming out of the second Thompson and the Black 5 but not chuffing as the front one was.

Another fault with double heading Steamers is you cannot manually fill the boiler even with auto fireman turned off it is done automatically and you sometimes run out of water and the scenario ends which can be quite frustrating. There is a scenario on The Horse Shoe Curve Route which came with the PRR K7 where you are hauling a freight train triple headed I finally completed after about 20 or so attempts without running out of water. Ran out of water once with about half a mile to go. Think the scenario was about 80 mins.
