Those look to be default Kuju, a file verify "should" restore them.

Will this procedure work for the ES44's as well? I have the SD40-2's figured out but am running into the same thing with the ES44's (as well as some covered hopper repaints).

I just checked my installation and the Def-2 folder no longer exists. It must have been removed, because I had it at one time and have a copy in my backed up assets.

HankySpanky wrote:I had the same issue. Here's how to fix it. You are missing 3 files.

1) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Def2\Engine\sd40_2_Def2_numbers.dcsv to your engine folder.
2) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Def2\Engine\Textures\SD40-2_Def2_Digits.bin to your engine\texture folder.
3) c/p from Kuju\RailSimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\Default\Engine\Textures\SD40-2_Digits.bin to your engine\texture folder.

Note "Default" in step 3.

Then do XDrivers procedure above (ie: renumber your engine to "0").

I'm having the same problem as mentioned, and I've tried the renaming to 0 and other things, and it doesn't go away. However, I don't see a dcsv file in that folder. It also appears that I don't have a Textures folder in the Def2 folder. Not sure if that's an issue or not, but yeah, it's bothering me these numbers...

Papa or Buzz -

Is it okay to post copies of these files on RWA without violating any EULA?

The general rule of thumb is: Do not post the GEO files.

It was removed with the upgrade to TS2014.
Now all those assets are in the RailsimulatorUSAssets.ap file.
You have to extract them.

I've tried 5 different ways to upload these files in a 4K zip folder to the file library but it keeps rejecting it.

Probably better off using this: http://www.zippyshare.com/ and send the file by PM to whomever requests it. (unless Bob or someone pops in and says how to upload here)

What browser are you using? Chrome works very nice for uploading file to the library.

Hey Buzz - Too much crappolla (not coppola) gets through when I use Chrome so I uninstalled it a while ago. I use Firefox but I was just able to successfully upload it using Explorer. Go figure! I never thought is was a browser issue. !DUH!
I guess I'll be visiting the "Geek Speak" section soon (hehe).

Anyway I don't know what happens from here but I suppose one of you guys looks it over and puts it on the library?

This fix works for all my broken Kuju\RailsimulatorUS\RailVehicles\Diesel\SD40-2\ assets. I have corrected all the Extra Numbers on Side of Cab for the SD40-2 in my Kuju Assets collection.

But I am at a loss to fix the Kuju ES44AC locomotives.

I have looked in each of the double numbers locomotive Assets\Kuju\RailsimulatorUS\RailVehicles\DieselES44AC\CSX2\Engine\es44_BNSF.bin blueprint file to find that each different loco has a different \Engine\es44ac_BNSF_Numbers.dcsv file - Note: usually the middle road name (ie, BNSF) describes the model. And also, the \Engine\Textures\ES44_Digits.bin file is missing from the Textures folder. What files am I supposed to copy to replace the missing files? I have tried everything I know to try... Am I to rename a Def file to match the .BIN DCSV? I haven't a clue...

I do not have a ES44AC\CSX2 folder, but I do have a ES44SC\CSX folder that had the same problem. This will hopefully fix it...

1) From your (kuju) ES44AC\BNSF\Engine folder, copy es44ac_BNSF_numbers.dcsv to your ES44AC\CSX2\Engine folder.
2) From your (kuju) ES44AC\BNSF\Engine\Texture folder, copy ES44_Digits.bin to your ES44AC\CSX2\Engine\Texture folder.

Give that a try.
