BN GP50 Trouble.

Now i didn't want to post this in the problems section because it my human error that's making this repaint (or Repaints) not work. I copied over the UP GP50 GEOPCDX files to all of the BN folders but when i place em down in game i get a UP GP50 with Black Tracks and No Numbers. What am i doing wrong?

I'm assuming you're talking about the repaint from the Loco Shop. If so, make sure you also install the small patch file right below it in their downloads section. This repaint gave me a bit of grief also on the install.

I did download the patch. Is it the horn and bell patch or is it something other?

The 'low settings texture fix' is the one I was referring to. Even though I run the game on 'High' graphics setting, this patch was the trick to getting it to work for me.

These things are still goofed up in that the cabview is seeing the up textures not the proper ones. The heads out view is OK but the interior view is not.........at least here.

Works! but cab view is still UP Default? and no horn?

yea fixed the Sounds. Horn's kinda ear pricing?...Cab view still wrong? but i got my Re-skins to work thanks to this Dude!

So I've tried the patches, the and the BN GP50 shows up in the editor list, but will not show up. I installed using the package manager. When I saw this, I assumed, ah ha! The .geopcx file is gone. Go to the asset folder for the gp50, there are 2 files in there in some sort of packaged format. Is DTG locking down content now so users can't modify it? I've noticed this with a few models that they have a single large packaged file, not a .rwp either, that must contain all the asset information?

It's a .ap file. All it is is a zipped up file that the game can read. Just unzip it and all the normal stuff will show up. The game reads them first so there is no need to get rid of the .ap after you unzip it.
