GP15 reskins are broken

Unread postby steve_the_slim » Tue Oct 25, 2011 9:58 pm

I posted this here because I never got a response from Jessie James. The stock MOPAC GP15 is fine, but his repaints of it have the MOPAC skin with broken numbers rather than the appropriate skin. I first tried reinstalling just the reskins and leaving the default unit installed, and when that didn't work I reinstalled everything. Verified cache, etc. They worked fine in RW2. I'm not sure if this problem exists with the UP skin, since I haven't tried that one. Does anybody know what might cause this?

I looked at the file structure and found what I suspected; The new TSX engine uses uncompressed textures when it can. If Jesse didn't furnish the GP15_Body_nm.TgPcDx (uncompressed) files with his repaints, they will use the original GP15_Body_nm.TgPcDx format file and you'll have some really odd results. Now, I need to look at my GP15 repaints and see if I did it right... *!rolleyes!* (whew! I did) !*brav*!
