Dieselworkshop exhaust C-424's

Unread postby cn2141 » Sat Dec 27, 2025 1:33 pm

Does anyone know of a fix or maybe someone could fix Dieselworkshops C-242's snowball exhaust when first started...its really weird when that large round ball of black shows up, kind of takes away from the reasonably nicely done Loco's.
Thankyou

You need to change the particle file. Here I put the one from DTM FA1 in there after doing the proper re-names. See if that works for you. Otherwise you need to fiddle with the numbers in that file. I've never played with them much so not sure what does what. This needs to be un-zipped and then placed in the Assets\DieselWorkshop\AlcoC424\Particles folder. Either re-name the Exhaust01 to Exhaust01.orig first or simply let it overwrite the existing one.

I grew up amid C424s and they were always belching black smoke and rusted parts.
