Headlight for Boxcab

Unread postby buzz456 » Mon Feb 03, 2025 5:16 pm

As regular readers know I'm working on a black version of the boxcab. Going along with that I thought I would make the four light headlight a old fashion one lamp incandescent. Well after fiddling with it for hours I have about run out of ideas. Someone............Anyone want to take a look and see what I'm missing? No matter what I do I can't make those four lights go away.

I think this is the same issue I was having the lower FT headlight and getting the same glow as the twin sealed beam. On the FT, there is an ExteriorLightsOn texture. When viewed through TS Tools, it's a black background with different arrangements and sizes of light glows. I'm guessing the that twin sealed beam headlight on the FT has the lenses mapped to that texture through a node on the model.

Maybe look for that same texture or a similar texture as a starting point. If it's there, look for the 4 light arrangement in the texture. I would make a backup of the texture, and try replacing the 4 light arrangement with a single light and see what happens. If it doesn't work, you can always replace it with the backup. However, all the boxcabs would have the single light glows instead of the 4 glow arrangement.
