Problem With Linear Objects Tool and Power Lines

Unread postby tntrainer » Fri Dec 02, 2022 8:39 pm

Hello,

I seem to have lost the ability to install a power line, pole line or telegraph line with the linear objects tool. And its only those objects. Lofts, bridges, track, fences etc. etc all still activate and follow the linear object tool arrow. I don't get the arrow for the power lines. Have I accidently ticked something. I have tried lines from different route assets to no avail. !*don-know!*

No recent downloads or additions to the asset list.

Any thoughts or suggestions appreciated.

Make sure you aren’t selecting just the wires. Wires connect between assets and don’t actually lay a loft with poles.

Thanks Mikeov1985,

I have discovered some of my Power line assets do indeed work. I need to do some more detective work and see which specific assets in each route are at issue. Then I can see if there is a common thread with my problem. I was not using one of the simple wire lofts for dressing up an individual pole. Some of those indeed work.

Thanks again,
George
