Routes not showing in the scenario editor in TS Tools

Unread postby Frowny13dathird » Tue Nov 08, 2022 7:24 pm

Hey guys. I recently got a new computer and installed Train Simulator to another internal hard drive, as opposed to the main C drive. I then decided to use TS tools to switch out some rolling stock in a scenario, and for some reason the routes don't show up in the select route and scenario section under 'Edit scenarios'. I tried everything I could find to fix this but to no avail. This worked just fine on previous computers I've used, and I don't know if it has to do with me installing Train Simulator to a different drive, or something else. Please help.

You have to edit the settings in TS-Tools, there is a setting for the location of railworks.

Look in options. There is button for "TS2020 Path".

Where do you have TS installed? Also are you running TSTools in administrative mode?

I too have mine installed on a E: Drive. The path on mine is Steam\steamapps\common\RailWorks and it works fine here.

I guess another thing worth mentioning, before I get to the window, I get this error message.

That explains why the list is empty.
I suggest you reinstall TS-Tools (as an administrator).

Just another point worth mentioning for routes/scenarios not showing is that most are in AP files and unless opened they won't. You can open them through RS Tools or open them with 7Zip.

Okay so I got the program mostly working however when saving changes to a scenario I get these errors. Also when I select 'edit scenarios' I get this error message twice before opening the window.
