Headlights for RSC GP-9's

Unread postby GogebicChief » Sun Aug 28, 2022 8:49 pm

Good Day:
This appears to very old subject, and after most 4 plus hours pouring over posts & stuff. I am wondering if the fix I read about from NERW is still the only way to fix the fact that the Headlight don't shine out in front. !**conf**! I am embarrassed, that I did find out way sooner, but it seems I just only drove those during the day. *!embar*! Thanks for any help. Stefan

Hi,

I presume you are referring to the original GP9 DLC (RSC \ GP9Pack01) -- in which case, looking at the engine .bin files in the GP9 pack, it seems that this DLC never got updated with lights (which were introduced with RW-3 if I remember correctly).

I must admit that I'm not familiar with the NERW fix for that but I also don't know of any other 3rd party updates for the old Geeps.

Cheers,
Michael

Thanks, for the reply Michael.. I thought I had it solved, when I found a Post by Chacal, about a fix by "Bermudez". I tracked it down over @ FerroSim, and installed it. But all I got was just the couplers showing. Then I found another post explaining that the update no longer worked after the whole BNSF upgrade. *!sad!* Also Michael, I found out You made the B&O Gp's for B&O Mountain Retro Pack, but those run long hood forward correct? Is there a way change them to run short hood forward. They would be perfect.

I wondering too, since I know somebody was able to get the Antenna's not to show on the Pennsylvania F/A's, if there was a way to get the Antenna's not to show on the GP7's from the Horsehoe Curve. That would work too. The reason I dogging this, is because the Soo Line did not have Dynamic brakes. If I have too, I will settle & use a Dynamic Brake model. Take Care, Stefan
