Terrain issue

Video explains it all, it happened after I installed terrain data from the original route file (Hudson Line) onto my extension revamped route.

I'm not sure I see what your problem is. Is your terrain snap to track function not working?

That video doesn't give us much to work on.

As Railwanderer said, is the snap to track the issue? If so, it appears that your terrain is already at the 'snap to' height for that track type.

I'll try to explain it, my terrain tool is not working on certain tiles, mainly on ones that I replaced on my route with default terrain tiles/ If you see the video, the white tiles that should show aren't. I need help on how to fix it.

If you are speaking of the white gridlines and the yellow circle locator then I would say you need to verify your files through the Steam game Properties to make certain all the base game files and functions are working. Then try it again.

Other than that I have no idea what you are talking about. I have removed and added terrain tiles that were made by TS and never had a problem with interchanging them as long as they came from the same source or route using the same coordinates. Track tiles are another thing.

I think I might get what he's saying. He is using the terrain-snap-to-track tool. Normally when you brush the terrain with this tool, a grid appears under your cursor to show you what vertices are being affected. I think he has found that after importing DEM data onto a tile, no grid appears and this tool quits working. I tried those steps and got the same result. But to fix it, all I had to do was reselect the 'snap' tool from the terrain tools pallet and then all worked normally.
