Question Reguarding the MSTS (conversion) ATSF 4-8-4 #2926

Hello,

Has anyone been able to figure out what needs to be done to make this locomotive stop jumping off the track (derailing)? Sometimes I can run it for a few miles before it does it, and it does seem to do it more in curves or going through a switch. I've tried tweeking the settings in the .bin file, but I'm not sure if the problem is there or in the .GeoPcDx file.

I've used the 2926 tender with other steam loco's and had no problem. And I've tried other tenders with 2926 and still get the same issue with this loco, so the problem is certainly with the loco itself.

Any help with this issue would be GREATLY appreciated.

Check the bounding box length is correct. I had this issue with the WIP grain hoppers.

Is that a setting in the .bin file? I use to have a program that checked the bounding box for loco's and cars for MSTS, but this has been converted to Railworks Train Simulator and it appears that the person that converted it based the "physics" off the G-TraX 4-8-4 Northern SPS 700.

Is this section from the .bin file what you are talking about?

Again, I use to have programs that would let me check things such as the bounding box, coupler placement, etc. for MSTS. But I don't have anything like that anymore for MSTS or Railworks.

On a side note that may or may not be related, I've noticed that if you couple anything to the front coupler, it sinks back into the pilot of the locomotive. Obviously the front coupler contact point needs to be adjusted further forward. Again, I don't know if that is connected to the overall problem or not.
