Scenario Editor

I am having the worst time with the scenario editor. I have standard scenarios for the NS Coal District. I used RW_Tools to convert them to standard from career. Everytime I try to edit the consists with equipment I want it asks to save then default back to the original consists like i didn't do anything. Rascal and Cottonwood does the same thing. I spent time trying to edit and since it was doing this goofy thing I haven't tried any others. I'm wondering if it has to do with the files possibly being read only?

thats what i'm guessing. it's odd since i'm using the in game editor but i will convert the files and try again. thanks buzz

Last I read you could convert Career to Standard, but not Standard to Career.....but I could be wrong. Search "career scenario" in the RWTools help file.....

correct, they where career scenarios that I converted to standard.

That's what it was. The files need to be read/write. I 'm guessing it's because of windows administrator permissions.
