Rio Grande GP9 Has No Sound At Idle

Unread postby FHRob » Fri May 12, 2017 6:22 pm

The GP9 included with Soldier Summit has no sound when the throttle is in idle.

Is there a fix for this?

I just checked mine. All is okay. Have you modified your files for sound or physics? Do you have an old backup of Railworks you can test and/or copy the file over?

I did modify the simulation file. The Idle rpm was set to 275, which is too low.

By changing the Idle rpm to 315, I was able to restore the idle sound.

Just checked the file. It was set at 330 rpm. Interesting why it would have changed.

Do you have Fan Railer's Soldier Summit physics mod? That corrects it
