Track Guidance Annoyance

Unread postby ErikGorbiHamilton » Sat May 06, 2017 8:08 pm

This "feature" has been in the game for awhile now and i seem to find it rather annoying when modifying routes such as the Castle Rock Revamp or the Adriana County. Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

The guide is for easements and will display whenever the Easement checkbox is enabled or if an existing curve had previous easements applied.
Cheers!

Thank you, there is still a problem however... The siding apparently has the easement box unchecked and yet it is still doing it. I even tried to relay the track with it off and it didn't work.

Any clues on what could be happening?

I mentioned "...if an existing curve had previous easements applied. If the track you're building off of was laid using the easement tool, then that piece would need to be removed and replaced in order to lay normal track afterward.
Cheers!

I removed all the track and then used the offset tool to relay the siding with easements off and it still gives me easements no matter what... Could this possibly have to do with using the offset tool?

!*cheers*!

You shouldn't have to replace all the track. Just start with a straight section, make sure you have 'snap to track' off, and easements off, then add a short ribbon of straight track. After that you should be able to do whatever you like with the curve.
