mystiriously not there anymore, help?

so I have this older route I just reinstalled, pikes eagle ridge, and I could of sworn the other day it was fine, but now if I go into say standard and select the route, the whole right side is bland, no engines, no scenarios, ive reinstalled a fresh copy of it and nothing, RWTools finds no problems, the files are all there in the scenario and route folders, so I have no clue

also it acts like I don't select anything cause the route on the left doesn't change

now checking, rascal and cottonwood and project platform does the same

I found that colton and northern, pikes eagle ridge, project platform, rascal and cottonwood don't show because for some reason other routes are causing them not to show up.

also I noticed that on these routes if I click the left picture to turn the right side into a list format, they show up, so why aren't they selectable when I pick their picture

I'm not sure this is right as I don't have those routes, but I believe the rolling stock is based off the preload folder for the route, and the destination locations are based off the scenarios and quick drives. So, I would make sure those folders have the right files and sub-folders in the right place.

I don't know what exactly I would need to do, I don't fool with the files much

also those four files show up fine if I don't add in other routes, and its random routes, not just one or two that cause those to disappear

Hi,

I'm not sure, something *may* be wrong with your installation, but I do doubt it. More likely is that the filters in the route/scenario menus are playing tricks on you. Have had that happen to me numerous times.

Those filters are, I think, started by clicking the loco and route buttons on the left-hand side of the window and selecting something there. I don't quite know how they actually work and what/how they sort, but I've seen it before that after clicking something in there that my whole route selection window on the right side went empty, too.

What I've been doing ever since is to use ONLY the search box in the upper right corner, and not click on anything else. So if I want to run a scenario on the Sacramento Northern route, I navigate to the Standard scenarios menu, then type "Sacr" into the search box, and then select the route from the results below. Now all scenarios should show up just fine... if it was indeed a filtering issue that caused them to disappear before.

well the search feature does work just fine, which is why this isn't a game breaking problem, its just annoying that the four don't show up correctly
