JCornell GP38-2 in TS2015

Unread postby glenn68 » Wed Sep 24, 2014 9:18 pm

Good evening,
I was trying to write a scenario for the NS coal district using the existing JCornell GP38-2 ( in P&LE livery) but the locomotive is missing its couplers. Any ideas or fix?

Thanks,
Glenn

Did it and works great. However since RSC GP 38-2 BNSF repainted to P&LE would be great since that Model s kept up to date.

Thanks Buzz, your help is appreciated.

I am also having a peculiar issue with Jcornell's GP38-2; I have found a GP38-2 CN-GTW 5878 from Train-Sim.com and I want to use it along with the CN 4725 locomotive. Everything seems correct and including the file paths, but its like the complete locomotive is invisible.

What am I doing wrong?
I did enable Kuju US

Is the geopcdx file in the right folder?

I was able to get something to show now using RW_Tools and giving the locomotive a new name, however it is still the CN 4725 not the CN 5848* that I want.
and yes they both have geopcdx files. So now it shows CN 4725 with the correct naming convention in TS2015, but still no GTW 5848.

Should I take the geopcdx file from CN 5848 and replace it with the one with CN 4725, but making a duplicate first?

Or there is something else that I am missing.

Yeah, I'm having an issue trying to find the correct GEOPCDX for this reskin too. I have a bunch of Justin's GP328-2's and they all seem to share the same GEO file "GP38-2.GeoPcDx". What I don't have is Justin's BNSF GP38-2 that is required in the readme. I have a BNSF-1 GP38-2 but that GEO file doesn't work.

Also I'm not clear on your last post - For me, the GTW 5848 loco called CN-1.

The original locomotive is in Jesse's page somewhere.

JCornell's website, but you have to sign up for a free account:
http://s1.zetaboards.com/DigiRails_Forums/forum/961546

This is where I found the CN-GTW 5848 Loco:
http://www.trainsim.com/vbts/tslib.php?searchid=3942412

I resolved most of my TS2015 issues, by enabling Kuju US, but its not working for CN-GTW 5848.

You use the Geo from the BNSF-1. If the one you are trying to make show up is not is there a Simulation folder in your new one? If not copy and paste the one from BNSF-1 to your new loco. The rest of the dependencies should be in the EMD folder. They are the audio and particles and System. If you didn't have them none of your GP38's would show up.
