CR SW1500s

Unread postby steve_the_slim » Wed Apr 27, 2011 7:35 pm

If I try to add any of the locomotives from the Conrail repaint pack to a scenario, all I see is the couplers on the ends floating in the air, and the game crashes when I left-click to place the train or right-click to cancel. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but no luck. Anybody else get this problem?

Did you follow the installation instructions fully? because it sounds like you didn't copy the shape files over.

There are no shape files to copy over. It's just a single rwp file.

You must install the .rwp/folders (I tought the CR repaints came only as folders to copy?) and then copy the .geo... file from the default or WesternPacific (look into the readme) folder into the new CR folders. Then maybe you must copy the Cabview, Driver, Simulation folders, too. Just look into the ReadMe.

Thanks for the help. There was no readme included in the download, so I assumed it installed the normal way. The readme in the File Library explained it.
