Verify Game Cache

Unread postby railduffer » Mon Dec 14, 2015 1:43 pm

Little things are bugging me. Such as switch stands not showing up. Anyway I thought verifying game cash might cure this. When I "Verify Game Cache" when finished it tells me "1371 files failed to verify and will be reacquired. Is this normal or should all of the files be acquired by running the Verify Program?
Thanks for an answer.
While I'm at it, why won't the switch stands show up?

What it's telling you is that there were 1371 files that were missing and that it's going to fix that. Are you still missing the switch stands and is it in a particular scenario or all over?

The cache verification checks each file on your PC in TS2016 against the steam master database. Any files that are different to the main db are "reacquired" (even a date accessed that is different to the main db will trigger a file to be re-acquired.)

However you should run the cache verification until it reports that "0" files need to be reacquired.

Just make sure that your scenery density slider in TS2016 is full right.
