BigBoy fix for issues?

Unread postby JohnS » Tue Oct 20, 2015 8:52 pm

So I got the BigBoy as part of a pack a while ago, I just now got around to playing with it and noticed some issues. I don't have any sound or chuffing smoke from the loco. I know the light issue has been discussed already but is there any fixes to bring the beast alive? I'm glad I didn't pay for it by itself but I would like to use it.

Thank you
John

I suggest you contact Dovetail and ask them why their DLC has no sound.

What Buzz suggests you can do it via a DTG Support Ticket.

However if you have a copy of TS2015 you can have it working fast.
There is a recent thread here in RWA and in Steam explaining how to do it, provided you got that backup.
If you don't have a TS2015 back up, you have to wait for an update as the TS 2016 AP file is too messed. !*not-ok*!

Basically it is all said in this thread and in the one I opened in Steam:
viewtopic.php?f=29&t=14683&hilit=big+boy

After you replace the TS2015 files do not forget to install (if not yet) the 2 mods by David Whiting (dtrainBNSF1).
