Will play some with it. I'm trying to figure out how they wrote the flashing ditch lights and the cab signaling so I can fix the CSX SD40-2 that came with NYNH.

What we need is a script collection in modular form written in cleartext LUA that can provide all locomotive functions like advanced braking, correct cab gauges, load dependent exhaust emitters, flashing ditch lights, all the bells and whistles, etc. I think that is something the community can achieve for the benefit of all of us.
There is little chance the old DLC will ever get updated again, and many of the newer DLC is half broken.

That would correct any "core" problems and give everyone a standard starting point. From there we could turn on or off functions of the lua to accommodate each unique piece of rolling stock. I don't have those skills or access to the original lua files to make one common lua but is a great idea none the less
