I Know this may seem a bit early for you, But right now, In my Time Zone it is 7:19PM on September 9 2013.

At about 3:15AM tomorrow Morning would be 12 Years since the attacks on the Twin Towers, In new York.
I was only 3 Years old when that happened, So I dont remember anything about that morning, But my Parents still tell stores about that Horrible Day.
My Parents have told me stories of People jumping from the building, and about when they watched the second Aircraft, a United Airlines 757 go into the North tower.
We Honestly would have not have known what was hapening until 6:00PM, When mum sits down to watch the news, If it wasnt for a call from my Unkle, Who had watched the first Aircraft fly into the tower.
My Unkle Should have been in a meeting on one of the floors the first aircraft hit, But got stuck in traffic on the way, and ended up watching the aircraft hit the building, and kill everyone he was meant to be with. He was also giving live commantary about a Bus driver getting all the passengers to safety, Which my best friend told me,was his unkle before asking if anyone from my family was there.
I have been also reading about things that were left after the building collapsed, Such as the Survivors Staircase, which was the tallest thing standing after the towers went down, and How 7 World Trade center collapsed after rubble from the towers collapsed on it.

It was the most documented day in history, and One of which I hope never happens Again.

Here is a few Pics from when Mum and Dad took My Brother and I to New York in 2006 (would you believe it is summer?)

Heard the 4th plane went down. Came back to school we were all scared. Saw the last tower go down. That was it. Came home and saw the wtc 7 at 5:30. Terrible day to see. *!sad!*

I will never forget that horrible day. Just watching it all unfold on TV was too much for me. I thought it was an Irwin Allen disaster movie. *!sad!*

I live in New York. I remember being picked up early from school by my aunt, and then going to her house to watch two towers bellowing smoke. I remember my dad coming home that night, his black suit was now grey, covered in dust and debris from the collapse. He brought random people along with friends to my house to stay while they didn't know if they could go home or not. He worked in the New York Stock Exchange, which was about 5-6 short blocks away from the towers.
He told me that he was coming out of the battery tunnel (two blocks away) on a bus as the first plane hit. To give you an idea of his view, he was about midway between the tower and the photographer in this picture:

He said it sounded like a bomb, everyone tried to look up to see what had happened, and he said he saw debris and paper falling like confetti everywhere. When he got off the bus he said he comforted a lady who was crying because her husband was in the building. He got off the bus 2 blocks away from the WTC. He walked to the stock exchange as if it was a normal day. Around the time he got there the second plane hit. That's when they evacuated.
So he had to now walk to the Staten Island ferry to be evacuated from Manhattan. Keep in mind during all of this he's less than 5 blocks away from the tower. He told me about all of the debris he saw, I think he saw some things he wishes he hadn't, that he just doesn't like to talk about. As he got on the ferry the south tower came down, and the cloud of debris engulfed the ferry. He said people were jumping off the boat. He stayed put and made it home okay, although he still has some breathing problems from that day.
On the other hand, my mom was supposed to be in that building that day for a meeting, but instead said no because she wanted to bring me to my first day of school. Crazy. Rest in peace to all those who perished that day. Never Forget.
