How did the get it free ? Lower the air operated suspension , remove load , deflate tires , or . . . ?

That's what you get for not paying attention to height restrictions. They probably waited for the train to cross (lessens load on bridge) then deflate tires and let air out of air suspension, back it out. Don't try and keep going forward. Take another route!

I used to see this every week in Davenport IA. Brady street runs right under the IAIS line(I modeled it in the soo line). the bridge has a 14'5" clearance and the hill starts right after it. Theres no way any long truck can clear it, yet drivers fail to read the signs inevitably. I lived 500 feet from it and could see and hear the dragging sounds of a wreck lol. it was awesome.

This was a "The Railway Series" reenactment. "Oliver the Western Engine: Bulgy"
