Someone has stolen the bell off the Southern 154 Steam Engine. If you have any knowledge of who may have stolen it or its location please send your information to
kmw@gulfandohio.com as soon as possible. There will be a reward given to those that provide information which results in the retrieval of the bell. You can also call our office at 865-525-9400 from 9am-5pm. Thank you.

This is why we can't have nice things. Now there's a guy running around with a whole lotta foamers that practically want to kill him.

Im rather impressed, really. a 50lb brass bell isnt easy to steal...

If the thief was not a deranged Rail Fan...And I certainly hope not. Then it has got to be a Druggie. Do you know what brass brings at the Recycler these days? Lots of Bucks!!! That would kept a Druggie in dope for a lot of days worth of fixes. What a shame!

They should find finger prints on that bell. Finger prints>thief>jail.

He would need to be familiar with that engine and he would need to have the tools and knowledge to remove the bell... Let alone some strength.

Bet you the thief thought it was made of copper and thought he could make a lot of quick cash by melting it down and selling it to a scrap dealer....just my
