A few weeks back, I saw one of those "scenic train ride" programs that pop up from time to time; and this was one that, to the best of my knowledge, hasn't been around before. They did a piece on this particular car, including footage of them mining it out of the building that had been built around most of it. I've got to hand it to this group: they did a superb job. The only other restoration I know of that was on the scale of this project was Seashore's Cincinnati Car Company curveside car from the Wheeling system. Restorations such as these really set the bar high for the preservation community in North America.
