Posted: Thu Apr 18, 2013 2:04 pmA few of us from the NERW are heading to Altoona in late july or early august, we are still debating on the date. It will be over the weekend. We have plans for some tours and a train rde or two over the curve.

VIA #1(Vancouver to Toronto) is a lot better imho but each to their own.

Posted: Sat Apr 20, 2013 12:58 pmI would like to go on some of the Amtrak runs. But the ball and chain would never let me spend a few grand to visit the USA just to go on a train ride.
